Hello,

Could you share the exported files of the scenes that come with the DEMO?
I'd like to test the process in Layout.

My apologies for not catching this post over the weekend, and then again for not handling this last night -- I can only claim "too many distractions".  I've left myself notes, so I should be able to remember to upload results tonight.

The trial version does come with output files for the tutorial stages, but I will generate output files for the other scenes that are included and will post them here.

It's been awhile since I've looked at what comes in the Trial version install, but here's what is available:

If you browse to your installation directory (typically this would be c:\program files\Facial Animation) and then look in the Content directory, you can find various exported files:

  • Under the Tutorial folder, you'll find .txt (Morph Mixer) files and .mdd (Motion Designer) files that are described in the last stages of the tutorial, which also provides instructions for loading them up into Lightwave and attaching them to the tutorial objects.  I tried to make the tutorial as complete as I could, although it predates the last version of LW, so some of the precise steps may be off -- if so, please let me know.
  • Under FA_Scenes you will find some other .fa_scene files that go along with some online tutorials (also included on the CD, but you can get to them from http://ta-animation.com/FA/tutorials.htm ) that Timothy wrote up.
  • Deeper down, under FA_Scenes/Output, you will find an .mdd and a pair of .txt files that go with the scenes in FA_Scenes and Timothy's tutorials.

If you need exported files from other included scenes, please let me know.

The problem was with the mdd file (WelcomeToFacialAnimation.mdd)
I've reinstalled the demo and it's OK now. I can't say to you what happened but I suppose was a tilt of my OS during the installation.

Cheers
